You never heard a sound Like the Rubberband man You’re bound to lose control When the Rubberband starts to jam…. courtesy of the Spinners..best song to do yo-yo tricks to at the talent show in 6th grade.
White out! We had a good little snow storm yesterday with a decent amount of snow but with this Lethbridge wind you couldn’t see much out on the road. So the cars were deemed “grounded” which means we aren’t supposed to drive them for safety reasons….probably more for the safety of the cars than ourselves but I’m sure we are cared about a little bit in that decision:)
We did have dinner with Bishop’s family and Deanna and Tara last night. It went really well and was a lot of fun! We were able to share a message on the Atonement in an appropriately brief and powerful way. We meet with Deanna on Wednesday and it should be a good lesson! We’re planning on teaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ! I love it!
Also, Tara came to one of the other missionaries baptisms this week and it was a really good experience for her. She was able to see that it was an acutal meeting/service because she just thought that she would show up. Get dunked. and walk out!haha But she really enjoyed it and is just waiting on marriage in order to get baptized! She’s great! oh yeah, I’ve also been bragging up the business lately with the new website up…So I may be using it as a contacting tool…haha But seriously, I’ve told a few members about it and Tara and she said it looks so good! So I kind of brought up that when her boyfriend is back that we should have a dinner with some of our steaks….So no pressure, but someone’s salvation may depend on whether you send at least 4 good steaks up here!haha Everyone thinks that it looks so good!
Other than that, we had a really good week of teaching Less actives and investigators! Oh yeah, that picture bishop sent was during a lesson with Deanna. haha He snuggled up next to me while I was teaching.
I’m glad to hear that everyone is doing well! Wish Jessie luck for me! I’ve got a good feeling about this tournament though! Sounds like there should be some good exposure for her!
Love you! Have a great week!
